About The Author
Urbano Salvati
An Immigrane That Loved America And America Loved Him Back
The attraction of a late-night flight above New York City first grabbed Urbano 56 years ago. Every detail of what happened will remain crystal clear in his mind. Even after all this time, he clearly remembers the brightly lit streets of New York City. The image displayed a checkerboard pattern of red, yellow, and white patches that, in his mind, could have been roads. There isn’t a single imperfect road, he stated. Not in the small town where my parents were born, anyway—not like the meandering mountain roads of Italy.
With each step Urbano takes through the risks of immigration and each new country he visits, his brother Nick Salvati is an Angel brother to him. Urbano always relied on him for information or any thing else!
More About Urbano
After spending time in nature and experiencing the natural beauty of the world, Urbano wrote two amazing books. He credits his friend Karen Sheffer with making this dream a reality. Above all else, he will be eternally thankful for the faith and support she placed in him. His spirits were encouraged by the pure affection of people in his immediate vicinity. The addition of some heart
allowed him to keep writing books. Another person for whom he will be eternally grateful is Domenico Rando, his great buddy who taught him the value of friendship. In his words, “I cannot ever be grateful enough,” he stated that he still placed his trust in God even when faced with deep sorrow and the feeling of hopelessness.
